TS 514 sits in a string of boxcars at Portola, sporting a complete repaint and minimal identification.  Most of the 501 class had been assigned WP numbers in 1975 and were slowly being patched and renumbered.  This car is the only one I've that was repainted at all, as well as having its TS marks reapplied.

Also, the WP mechanical department renumbering list duplicated on this page is obviously incorrect in the case of the 514.  The list shows this car renumbered as WP 36039 in January of 1977, over 30 months before this photo.
